Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Leh (IXL)

Arrive at Leh Airport (IXL) and transfer to your hotel. Rest and allow your body to adjust to the high altitude. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll through Leh Market and visit Shanti Stupa to enjoy the beautiful sunset view before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 2

Leh Sightseeing

Spend the day discovering the charm of Leh. Visit Leh Palace, a reminder of Ladakh’s royal heritage, followed by the Hall of Fame Museum dedicated to the Indian Army. Continue to Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Sangam Point, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. Return to Leh in the evening and relax in your hotel after a day filled with stunning views and local culture.

Day 3

Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

After breakfast, begin the journey to Nubra Valley through the spectacular Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the world’s highest motorable roads. On arrival, visit Diskit Monastery and see the towering statue of Maitreya Buddha overlooking the valley. Later, head to Hunder Sand Dunes to experience a unique double-humped camel ride against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks before spending the night in the valley.

Day 4

Excursion to Turtuk

Take an optional day trip to Turtuk, India’s last village before the Pakistan border, known for its Balti culture and apricot orchards. Enjoy scenic mountain views and interact with the friendly locals before driving back to Nubra in the evening to unwind amidst the tranquil landscapes.

Day 5

Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route

Leave Nubra after breakfast and travel towards Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route. The turquoise lake and surrounding mountains create an unforgettable sight. Spend the evening walking along the lakeshore.

Day 6

Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass

Witness the sunrise over Pangong Lake, then return to Leh crossing Chang La Pass. Stop at Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace before reaching Leh in the evening.

Departure from Leh (IXL)

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your flight home, carrying memories of Ladakh’s peaceful monasteries and breathtaking landscapes.
